Slice 7 of Design: docs/design/SCRIPT-RECEIVERS.md (branch docs/script-receivers). Part of the script-receivers epic.

Introduce and document the optional mapping; lands together with slices 2-4. Existing scripts keep working unmapped, so no migration of every script is required.

Scope

  • examples/config-dsl/project.trb: scripts "config.trb", receiver: "ServerConfig", from: "./src/server-config".
  • tests/conformance/project.trb: families for crossing/*.trb and the vm-only/ scripts (receivers are the Settings of each test program), where mapping pays; other scripts may stay unmapped.
  • Sandbox tests in compiler/tests (receivers.test.trb, sandbox.test.trb, reference.test.trb) cover both mapped (manifests with scripts) and unmapped scripts.
  • Guides: docs/language/configuration/, docs/how-to/write-a-configuration-file.md, docs/standard-library/sandbox.md, glossary; SCRIPTS.md (section 3 "the load decides") and PROJECT.md vocabulary table; regenerated skill docs.

Acceptance

  • Tier A gates green, incl. torb manifest --check and the docs --check gate.
  • Docs describe the mapping as optional and the fallback precisely (inference from literal loads, D18 on conflict, untyped otherwise); no doc says the first load decides.
  • SCRIPT-RECEIVERS.md status line updated to done.

Amended 2026-10-26 (owner): the scripts mapping is optional; unmapped scripts stay valid and are typed by inference from literal Sandbox.load calls, else untyped (SCRIPT-RECEIVERS.md sections 1, 5, 6).

[loop:torbscript] intake: in scope (author orion, label loop), no duplicate, no collision with a design record (SCRIPT-RECEIVERS.md landed via #519), no owner question. Lands with slices 2-4 of epic #518 (#513 in review), so refine sequences it last. next: refine
